Logideals has requested an enhancement to the report export functionality. Currently, when reports containing numeric values (e.g., amounts) are exported to Excel, these values are formatted as text instead of numbers. As a result, users are unable to perform calculations (such as SUM, AVERAGE, or other formulas) directly on the exported data.

To use these values in calculations, users must manually convert the text values into numeric format. As per Mr. Zaid, this process is tedious and time-consuming, especially for reports containing a large number of rows, as it often requires converting each row or column before calculations can be performed.

Requested Enhancement:
Ensure that all numeric fields (e.g., amount, totals, weight, volume and other numeric values) are exported to Excel using the numeric format instead of text format.

Expected Behavior:

• Numeric values in exported Excel reports should be recognized as numbers by Excel.
• Users should be able to perform calculations and apply formulas immediately without manual conversion.
• The exported data should maintain correct formatting for large datasets.

Acceptance Criteria:

1. Numeric fields in reports are exported as number format in Excel.
2. Users can directly apply Excel formulas (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE) on exported values.
3. No manual conversion of rows or columns is required after export.
4. Existing report data accuracy and structure remain unchanged.

Start by:

Sales Report and then apply changes to other reports gradually.

Also, check if the downloaded filename can be meaningful, such as when downloading the sales report, where the filename is named "SalesReport.zip" instead of 20260304_074316.zip.
