Description

1.     Total Ocean Export Shipments (MBL & HBL) (monthly, weekly, or daily)

As a FFWD,
I want to view the total number of Ocean Export shipments with separate tracking for Master Bill of Lading (MBL) and House Bill of Lading (HBL) over a given period,
So that I can track the volume of shipments and assess business performance over different periods.

Acceptance Criteria:

·       Track Total Ocean Export Shipments Separately for MBL and HBL (Monthly, Weekly, or Daily)

·       Shipments should be broken down into MBL and HBL categories.

·       User should be able to filter the view by Date Range month, week, or day and Shipment Type: FCL, LCL or both.

·       Data should be represented visually (e.g. line graph, pie chart, table and bar chart).

·       The report should calculate total number of shipments depending on the user filter selected and display the percentage either as growth or decline in shipment volumes compared to the previous period (monthly, weekly, or daily).

·       The report should be exportable in CSV or Excel format.

2.     Ocean Export Shipments by Status (Example: In progress, Confirmed, On Hold)

As a FFWD,
I want to see a breakdown of Ocean Export shipments by their current status (In progress, confirmed, On Hold),
So that I can monitor the progress of different shipments and address any bottlenecks.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The dashboard should display the number of shipments in each status category
  • Status categories should include: In progress, confirmed, On Hold, and any other relevant statuses.
  • Users should be able to filter by specific statuses and Date Range
  • Data should be visually represented (e.g. line graph, pie chart, table and bar chart).

 

3.     Number of containers loaded per shipment/File Reference

Title: View number of containers loaded per shipment

As a FFWD,
I want to view the number of containers loaded for each Ocean Export shipment or File Reference,
So that I can ensure optimal container usage and shipment efficiency.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The dashboard should display the number of containers loaded per shipment.
  • The report should be grouped by File Reference.
  • Users should be able to filter by shipment status and date range
  • Data should be exportable in CSV and Excel format.

4.     Container space utilisation (under utilised, full)

As a FFWD,
I want to track the space utilization of containers (under utilised, full),
So that I can optimise container capacity and reduce shipping costs.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The dashboard should show the utilisation rate for each container in a shipment (e.g., percentage filled).
  • Containers should be categorised as "underutilised" or "full".
  • Users should be able to filter by shipment or File Reference.
  • Data should be visually represented using graphs or tables.

5.     Container type (20ft, 40ft, refrigerated, etc.)

As a FFWD,
I want to view the types of containers used in Ocean Export shipments (20ft, 40ft, refrigerated, etc.),
So that I can assess the demand for different container types and plan future shipments accordingly.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The dashboard should categorize containers by type (20ft, 40ft, refrigerated, etc.).
  • Users should be able to filter by shipment or File Reference. and date range
  • Data should be visually represented in (e.g. line graph, pie chart, table and bar chart).
  • The report should be exportable in CSV and Excel format.

6.     Total cost per shipment (freight, port fees, handling charges) - Total revenue from shipment

As a FFWD,
I want to see the total cost and total revenue for each Ocean Export shipment,
So that I can analyse profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The dashboard should display the total cost per shipment, including freight, port fees, and handling charges, etc.
  • The dashboard should display total revenue per shipment.
  • Users should be able to view cost and revenue by File Reference.
  • Data should be exportable in CSV or Excel format.
  • Data should be visually represented in (e.g. line graph, pie chart, table and bar chart).

7.     Cancellations to Ocean Export shipments

As a FFWD,
I want to track Ocean Export shipments that have been cancelled,
So that I can understand the reasons behind cancellations and mitigate future occurrences.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The dashboard should show all Ocean Export shipments that have been cancelled.
  • Users should be able to filter by time period (monthly, weekly, daily).
  • The reason for cancellation should be recorded and displayed.
  • Data should be visually represented in (e.g. line graph, pie chart, table and bar chart).

8.     Most frequently used routes for Ocean Export

As a FFWD,
I want to see the most frequently used routes for Ocean Export shipments,
So that I can plan more efficiently and consider cost-effective routing options.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The dashboard should display the most frequently used routes/destination by shipment volume.
  • Users should be able to filter by time period (monthly, weekly, daily).
  • Data should be visually represented in (e.g. line graph, pie chart, table and bar chart).
  • The report should be exportable in CSV or Excel format.
