The freight forwarder needs a checkbox option under Maintenance Charges to identify whether a charge is classified as _Manifested Freight_ or _Origin Charges (Ex works Charges)_,\ so that the system can correctly determine how these charges are displayed and treated on the Notice of Arrival (NOA) and VAT Invoice. Currently, there is no specific mechanism to distinguish Manifested Freight and Origin Charges within the Maintenance Charges configuration. This enhancement will introduce a dedicated checkbox field that allows users to classify charges accordingly. When a charge is identified as Manifested Freight, and the Freight Payment Term is marked as “Prepaid”, the system must: * Display the Manifested Freight amount on the NOA (Notice of Arrival). * Display the Manifested Freight amount on the VAT Invoice. * Show the amount in front of the “Collect” charges section for information purposes. * Exclude the Manifested Freight (Prepaid) amount from all invoice total calculations (i.e., not included in subtotal, VAT calculation, or grand total). **Acceptance Criteria** 1. A new checkbox field shall be added in the Maintenance Charges screen: · “Manifested Freight / Ex Works charges” 2. The checkbox shall be optional and editable only by authorized users. 3. When: · Charge Type = Manifested Freight · Freight Term = Prepaid Then: · The charge shall automatically appear on the NOA. 4. If Freight Term = Collect: · The system shall treat the charge as a normal collectible charge and include it in total calculations. In short, If Freight is checked as Manifest Freight on maintenance, Freight Term is Prepaid. This amount should be displayed on the NOA / VAT Invoice without adding them in the calculations
