When creating a Payment Request, the user should be able to select the currency in which the payment request will be issued, and this selection must be reflected consistently in the system and in the generated PDF.

Requirements¶

1. Payment Currency Selection¶

Add field:

Payment Currency (Dropdown – Mandatory)

• Default:
  • default currency as per in the tenant configuration settings
• User can override

2. Currency Conversion Logic¶

When selected currency differs from charge currency:

• System should:
  • Convert amounts using the exchange rate in the shipment cost/additional cost charges
  • Display both:
    • Original amount (charge currency)
    • Converted amount (payment currency)

3. Payment Request PDF¶

The Payment Request PDF must reflect the selected Payment Currency.

• User can select Payment Currency
• Payment Request is saved with selected currency
• PDF reflects selected Payment Currency
• Converted values are correctly calculated
• Exchange rate is applied correctly
• Totals match converted values
• Original currency remains visible (for traceability)
• Layout remains consistent with existing format
