Scope:
Air Freight Module – Master Airway Bill (MAWB)
Description:
Enhance the MAWB file creation to automatically default the Freight Type field to Prepaid.
Functional Requirements:
- Set the default value of Freight Type as Prepaid when creating a new MAWB file.
- User should retain the ability to amend the value manually if required, subject to existing permissions/business rules.
- Existing records should remain unchanged.
Acceptance Criteria:
- Freight Type defaults to Prepaid on creation of a new MAWB file.
- User can amend the value where permitted.
- Existing MAWB records are not impacted.
- No impact to downstream billing or document generation processes.
