Description
A freight forwarder dealing with ‘Trading’ practices, need the system to generate a Bill of Lading for import shipments using a pre-printed document format, to comply with standard documentation required by the MRA Customs
Acceptance Criteria
- Configuration Setup
a) The system shall provide a configuration setting to enable or disable the use of pre-printed Bill of Lading documents.
b) This configuration shall be maintained at organisational level.
- Default Behaviour
a) If the pre-printed option is enabled, the system shall generate the Bill of Lading without standard template borders/background (aligned for pre-printed stationery).
b) If disabled, the system shall generate the Bill of Lading using the standard system template (which is currently being used)
- Document Generation
a) The system shall allow users to generate a Bill of Lading for import shipments under the trading scenario only.
b) The generated document shall correctly align data fields (e.g., shipper, consignee, cargo details) with the pre-printed layout.
- Print Functionality
a) The system shall ensure proper positioning and formatting to avoid misalignment.
