A Freight Forwarder should be able to capture supplier invoice details at each charge level on the Shipment Cost Screen, so that the Finance Department can process supplier payments accurately based on the buying cost

 Description

After a supplier (such as an Agent, Airline, or other service provider) delivers a service, the Operations team must send the invoice information to the Finance Department to initiate payment.

To support this process, additional fields must be added at each charge level on the Shipment Cost Screen. These fields will allow users to record the supplier, invoice reference, and invoice date associated with the charge.

Since multiple shipment charges may belong to the same supplier invoice, the system should support multi-select functionality to allow users to link several charges to a single invoice without duplicating entries.

Functional Requirements

The following fields should be added at each charge level:

1. Supplier

·         Dropdown list to select the supplier (Agent, Airline, or other service provider).

2. Invoice Reference

·         Free text field to capture the supplier invoice number.

3. Invoice Date

·         Date and time picker to capture the supplier invoice date.

4. Multi-Select Charges

·         Users should be able to select multiple shipment charges and associate them with the same supplier invoice / Date.

Acceptance Criteria

1. Supplier Selection

• The system shall display a dropdown field for Supplier at the charge level.

2. Invoice Reference Entry

• The system shall allow the user to enter the Supplier Invoice Reference.

3. Invoice Date

• The system shall provide a Date and Time Picker for the Invoice Date field.

4. Buying Amount Capture

• The system shall automatically take the Buying amount from the charge when associating the invoice.

5. Multi-Select Functionality

• The system shall allow the user to select multiple charges and associate them with one supplier invoice.
