Description

The freight forwarder wants that the system to automatically allocate costs and sales values to each House Air Waybill (HAWB) based on different charge calculation methods,
so that they can ensure accurate billing, avoid manual calculation errors, and maintain consistency across all shipments under the same File Reference.

Acceptance Criteria / Scenarios

Per HAWB (House Airway Bill)

· Given a charge is selected as “Per HBL”

· And the cost for Documentation Fee is MUR 1000 and the ‘sales’ is MUR 1100

· When the system processes the File Reference

· Then the sales value of MUR 1100 is displayed automatically on each HAWB present under that File Reference

Split per HBL (Equal Split)

· Given a charge is selected as “Split per HBL”

· And the total cost for CCS Fee is MUR 3250

· And the File Reference has 10 HAWBs

· When the system processes the File Reference

· Then each HAWB should display MUR 325 as the allocated cost

Note: This method is used when no profit is implied

Per Volume

· Given a charge is selected as “Per Volume”

· And the cost is MUR 1500 and sales is MUR 800 per volume unit

· And the client shipment has 3 MC (volume)

· When the system processes the File Reference

· Then the amount displayed for each HAWB is MUR 800 × 3 = MUR 2400

Per Kgs

· Given a charge is selected as “Per Kgs”

· And the cost is MUR 2500 and sales is MUR 900 per Kg

· And the client shipment has 4 Kgs

· When the system processes the File Reference

· Then the amount displayed for each HAWB is MUR 900 × 4 = MUR 3600
