Description

What is Manage Airline?

This is where all Airlines will be created with all their related information in the Freight Forwarding System.

Contents of the 'Manage Airline Module' Screen:

  1. Display list of Airlines. Columns displayed are:

    Airline IATA Designator Code ICAO Code Status
    Air Mauritius Limited MK MAU Active/Inactive

  2. Display 'ADD NEW AIRLINE' :

(a). When clicking on "ADD NEW AIRLINE" button, A new pop-up 'Add New Airline' screen is displayed.

(b) Fields to be displayed in "Add New Airline" screen:

  • Airline Name.
  • IATA Designator Code.
  • ICAO Code.
  • Activate and Deactivate option.

  1. User should be able to 'ADD/MODIFY'.

  2. User should be able to 'Active' and 'Deactivate' an Airline.

  3. Upon first creation of an Airline, it should be 'Activated' by default.

  4. When a user 'Deactivate' an Airline, system should provide a pop-up to insert a 'Reason' and this should be Mandatory.

  5. User should be able to search the Airline by:

    (i) Airline Name.

    (ii) IATA Designator code.

    (iii) ICAO code.

  6. Activity log - All changes made pertaining to an Airline should be logged automatically for traceability purposes.
